Abstract

A muscle relaxation monitoring device includes: a stimulator configured to apply a stimulation having a predetermined current value and a predetermined pulse width value to a nerve of a living body; and a physiological response detector configured to detect a physiological response. The stimulator applies a first stimulation having a first current value and a first pulse width value, and applies a second stimulation having a second current value and a second pulse width value after applying the first stimulation. The stimulator compares the physiological response detected when the first stimulation is applied with the physiological response detected when the second stimulation is applied, and adjusts the predetermined current value and/or the predetermined pulse width value to be applied to the living body.
