Abstract

This application discloses an implantation device for implanting an analyte sensor into a subcutaneous tissue, including an outer housing having a first end and a second end that are oppositely disposed in a first direction, where a mounting port is formed in the first end, and a mounting channel is disposed within the outer housing; a sealing unit disposed within the mounting channel and having a sealed chamber; a monitoring unit including a housing, an electronic module, and a monitoring module, where the housing is arranged at the first end; the electronic module is disposed within the housing; the monitoring module is disposed within the sealed chamber; and a driving unit capable of driving the monitoring module to move in the first direction such that the monitoring module is assembled to the housing, the monitoring module is electrically connected to the electronic module, and the monitoring module is partially implanted into a subcutaneous tissue of an implantee. In this application, the independent sealing unit is provided inside the outer housing, and the monitoring module is mounted inside the sealing unit to form a sterilization unit, so that a volume of the sterilization unit can be reduced, and a plurality of sterilization units can be sterilized once, thereby enhancing sterilization efficiency and reducing sterilization costs.
