Abstract

A radiation shielding structure (200) is provided. The radiation shielding structure (200) includes a filter module (210), a shielding module (220), and a structural wall (230). The filter module (210) has a first aperture (211) for a neutron beam to pass through. The shielding module (220) has a second aperture (221). The structural wall (230) has a third aperture (231) for output of the neutron beam. The shielding module (220) is configured in front of the structural wall (230) or directly behind the filter module (210). The shielding module (220) may be moved in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the neutron beam so that the shielding module (220) may be moved to an open state or a closed state.
