Abstract

The present invention relates to a vertical waste baler (1), comprising a press plate (PP) adapted to compact waste, by being translated vertically within a waste compartment of the waste baler (1). To bundle compacted waste into a bale, an associated strap (S) is provided, the waste baler adapted with a first and second strap clip (SC1, SC2), the first strap clip (SC1) adapted to translate with the press plate (PP). The vertical waste baler (1) further comprises a strap tool (ST) adapted for safe insertion of the strap (S) into the strap clips (SC1, SC2).
