Abstract

The tool assembly for mounting and dismounting vehicle wheel tires comprises an operating head for mounting/dismounting a tire on/from the rim of a wheel, provided with a dismounting tool associated with an actuator device and rotatable between an insertion position between an edge of the rim and a portion of the tire bead, a position for engaging the portion of the bead, and a position for extracting the portion of the bead, wherein the tool assembly comprises means for moving the operating head and the tool, operatively connected to the actuator device and configured to translate the operating head along a substantially curvilinear direction and, simultaneously, rotate the tool between an insertion configuration, an engagement configuration and an extraction configuration.
