Abstract

A hydraulic brake device (32, 80) for an industrial vehicle (10) includes a hydraulic pressure generator (33), a brake unit (34), a hydraulic fluid passage (35) including a first hydraulic fluid passage portion (71), and a cylinder mechanism (36, 81) having a cylinder hydraulic fluid chamber (63, 90). The cylinder mechanism (36, 81) includes a cylinder (51, 82), a cylinder cover (52), a piston (53, 83), a piston rod (54, 100, 110), and a blocking member. The piston rod (54, 100, 110) has an external screw portion (69) and an operating portion (55, 101). The cylinder cover (52) has an internal screw portion (62). With the rotation of the piston rod (54, 100, 110), the blocking member blocks the cylinder hydraulic fluid chamber (63, 90) from the first hydraulic fluid passage portion (71) and the piston (53, 83) is moved.
