Abstract

An assembly is provided for an aircraft. This assembly includes an aircraft propulsion system (20), a propulsion system pylon (108) and a mount (184). The propulsion system pylon (108) is configured to mount the aircraft propulsion system (20) to an airframe (106) of the aircraft. The mount (184) attaches the propulsion system pylon (108) to the aircraft propulsion system (20). The mount (184) includes a bracket (186), a stud (188) and a bushing (190). The bracket (186) includes a receptacle (194) with a frustoconical receptacle surface (198). The stud (188) includes a shoulder (212) and projects axially along an axis (202) into the receptacle (194). The bushing (190) is disposed axially between and is engaged with the frustoconical receptacle surface (198) and the shoulder (212).
