Abstract

An aseptic apparatus (1) for filling and closing cans (100), the aseptic apparatus (1) comprising: - a filling unit (2); - a lid sterilizing unit (3) configured to sterilize lids (200) and comprising a rotating star-wheel, the lid sterilizing unit (3) being configured to lower each of the sterilized lids (200) on a corresponding can (100) laying on a conveyor (8) in a closing station (9) and to place and press the sterilized lid (200) on the corresponding can (100); - isolating means (50, 60) within which the filling unit (2) and the sterilizing unit (3) are arranged; - a seaming unit (10) arranged downstream the closing station (9) so as to receive the cans (100) with lids (200) applied thereon, the seaming unit (10) being located outside the isolating means (12).
