Abstract
Provided is a method of annealing steel strips that enables efficient production even in small batches. The method is applied to a steel strip having a thickness of 1.0 mm or more, and includes applying a pretreatment that changes emissivity to a portion of a surface of the steel strip and applying a heat treatment to the steel strip that has undergone the pretreatment.
