Abstract

An apparatus (1) for digging into the snow cover comprises a frame (2) that extends along a longitudinal direction (L) between a first end (21) and a second end (22) graspable by an operator; an operating head connected with the first end (21) and comprising digging means (3) configured to dig into the snow cover and to convey along a distancing direction (E) the piles of snow cover dug; and a grid (4) shaped to surround at least partially the digging means (3) in order to protect it from possible impacts with foreign bodies. In addition, the grid (4) is also arranged, in use, between the snow cover and the same digging means (3) in order to stabilise the operating head during functioning of the apparatus (1).
