Abstract

An article security device for secure engagement of articles of varying sizes while maintaining product visibility and minimizing operational complexity. The article security device includes an article surveillance device, a hub, captive portions configured to engage with surface portions of an article, moveable members coupled to the captive portions and extending from the hub, the moveable members configured to slide or telescope linearly with respect to the hub, and a locking member configured to releasably lock lateral movement of the moveable members. The device may include cables constraining movement, channels in the hub for guiding travel paths, concave portions for corner engagement, and toothed or ridged profiles for locking engagement. The locking member may regulate movement independently for multiple moveable members and may be selectively released.
