Abstract
A thermal energy storage and production system (10) comprising: a circuit (100) for the circulation of a refrigerant fluid; a circuit (200) for the circulation of a first heat-transfer fluid of temperature T<sub>a</sub>; the circuit (200) comprising a first thermal storage tank (203) containing a first phase change material; and a circuit (300) for the circulation of a second heat-transfer fluid of temperature T<sub>b</sub> > T<sub>a</sub>; the circuit (300) comprising a second thermal storage tank (303) containing a second phase change material. The refrigerant fluid, in a charge phase of said first tank (203) and said second tank (303), releases heat to said first phase change material and, simultaneously, extracts heat from said second phase change material. The system (10) further comprises a circuit (400) for the circulation of a third heat-transfer fluid of temperature T<sub>c</sub>, wherein T<sub>b</sub> > T<sub>c</sub> > T<sub>a</sub>, said circuit (400) being hydraulically connected to said circuit (200) and to said circuit (300), wherein said temperature T<sub>c</sub> is regulated by a flow rate of the first heat-transfer fluid by means of a first adjustable circulator (217) and by a flow rate of the second heat-transfer fluid by means of a second adjustable circulator (317).
