Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a heat exchanger unit (10), comprising a housing defining (12) an air flow path (34), a heat exchanger (38) arranged in the air flow path (34) to be flowed through by air in a flow direction, and a drain pan (72) arranged below the heat exchanger (38) for collecting condensate accumulating on surfaces of the heat exchanger (38). The present disclosure suggests a water drop collector (50) arranged in the air flow path (34) downstream of the heat exchanger (28) and configured to be flowed through by air in the flow direction to collect water drops entrained in the air flow and guide collected water drops into the drain pan (72).
