Abstract

The technology proposed herein relates to a method of treating a sample, wherein the sample comprises blood, serum, and/or plasma from a human infant or from a human umbilical cord, wherein the method comprises removing, inactivating, and/or cleaving human IgM in the sample. A method of obtaining a measurement of immunological activity of a sample, a method of obtaining a surrogate endpoint, a surrogate efficacy test method, a use of an enzyme, and a kit, are also disclosed.
