Abstract
Exiting systems fail to provide an automatic way of assessing the application with respect to crypto agility. The present disclosure performs the following steps iteratively, till the length of a call hierarchy corresponding to one or more interfaces of one or more crypto Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). A crypto inventory report is generated using a first set of inventory rules. The one or more clusters of one or more crypto APIs are generated based on a membership of one or more crypto API parameters of a class determined by a slicer. The one or more interfaces are extracted from the one or more clusters of the one or more crypto APIs. The extracted one or more interfaces are converted into a second set of inventory rules and a crypto inventory report is generated. An agility score of the application is then calculated accordingly.
