Abstract

The disclosure relates to a method for configuring a low-fidelity simulation model for simulating an operation of an industrial plant, wherein the low-fidelity simulation model is indicative of a topology of plant devices in the industrial plant, the method comprising:- obtaining (S1) documentation data indicative of a documentation of one or more of the plant devices in the industrial plant,- providing (S2) the documentation data for processing by an Al model, for extracting of one or more parameters for one or more device properties of the one or more plant devices in the documentation data,- obtaining (S3) the extracted one or more parameters from the Al model, and- configuring (S4) the low-fidelity simulation model by applying the extracted one or more parameters of the one or more device properties.
