Abstract

A meeting support apparatus (1) includes: an acquisition processor (112) that acquires a voice uttered by a user; a voice recognition processing unit (113) that converts the voice into text information; a summary generation processing unit (114) that generates, based on the text information, a summary sentence summarizing utterance contents of the user every first predetermined number of characters; and a display processing unit (116) that causes a display screen to display the summary sentence. The summary generation processing unit (114) generates, when the number of characters of first text information converted from a first voice is less than the first predetermined number of characters, a first summary sentence corresponding to the first text information based on the first text information and second text information converted from a second voice uttered before the first voice.
