Abstract
There is provided a computer-implemented method for applying a Colour Vision Deficiency (CVD) correction to an image. The method comprises: receiving an input comprising the image; identifying a pair of objects in the image, the pair of objects comprising a first object having a first colour and a second object having a second colour, the first colour and the second colour forming a confusing colour pair based on a type of CVD, the identifying including assigning a respective descriptor to each of the first object and the second object; selecting a CVD correction to apply to the pair of objects, the CVD correction being selected based on the respective descriptors of the first object and the second object; and applying the CVD correction to the pair of objects.
