Abstract

A method and apparatus of a device restoring an image a training-free, zero-shot manner is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device can receive an original image. In addition, the device can diffuse the image over a plurality of timestep using a trained diffusion model in an outer loop, wherein at each of the plurality of timesteps, an intermediate image is optimized using a degradation model using an inner loop. The device further can recover the restored image at the end of the plurality of timesteps.
