Abstract

The present invention relates to contactor, particularly screw terminal contactor. The invention discloses a contactor (10), comprising at least a pair of screw connecting terminals (2), and each screw connecting terminals (2) has a fixed contact (5) in a ferrule cavity (7), and the ferrule cavity (7) has an opening (3) between an insulation walls (1.3). The at least one opening (3) comprising a wide section (3.1) and a narrow section (3.2) narrower than the wide section (3.1), such that the wide section (3.1) and the narrow section (3.2) are configured to fit with different sizes of ferrules. The narrow section (3.2) is wider than a pin of the ferrule which size fits to the wide section (3.1), and the opening (3) by the narrow section (3.2) opens into the part of the ferrule cavity (7) adjacent to the fixed contact (5), while the wide section (3.1) is on the opposite side to the fixed contact (5).
