Abstract

A thermal management system for regulating the temperature of an electrical device, wherein the system includes at least one thermal router comprising at least one stack of pyrolytic graphitic sheets bound together, the system being configured to determine the temperature of the electrical device by measuring the change in the electrical conductivity of across the stack of pyrolytic graphitic sheets is hereby disclosed. A method for the thermal management of an electrical device whereby the temperature of the electrical device is determined by measuring the change in the electrical conductivity of across the stack of pyrolytic graphitic sheets is also disclosed.
