Abstract

A flotation device (30) comprising: a first portion (32) arranged in fluid communication with liquid coolant accommodated by a liquid coolant pipe (20), the first portion (32) causing selective blocking or opening of an outlet (22) leading inside a battery pack (10); a second portion (34) arranged inside the battery pack (10) being floatable; and a third portion (36) interconnecting the portions (32, 34), wherein the third portion (36) is configured to adjust a position of the first portion (32) based on a position of the second portion (34).
