Abstract

The present disclosure refers to an electrical interface, preferably data connectivity header, the electrical interface comprising: a first housing comprising: a chamber extending at least between a first opening arranged at a mating end of the first housing, and a second opening arranged at a bottom end of the first housing; the mating end configured to receive a corresponding electrical plug connector; at least one electrical contact extending within the chamber at least between the mating end and the bottom end, the at least one electrical contact being configured to electrically connect to corresponding plug contacts of the plug assembly; a shielding assembly comprising a first end configured to be mounted to a printed circuit board, and a second end configured to slidably engage within the bottom end of the first housing.
