Abstract

The present invention discloses a connector housing and a connector. The connector housing comprises: a housing body (10) which is formed with multiple insertion holes (11) extending along its longitudinal direction (Y) and arranged in a row in its transverse direction (X); two snap slots (12) which are respectively formed on the top and bottom of the housing body (10) and extend along the transverse direction (X); and two buckles (13) which are respectively located at the top and bottom of the housing body (10) and respectively connected to the top and bottom of the housing body (10). One of the adjacent two insertion holes (11) is in a first orientation and the other is in a second orientation, and the first orientation is rotated 180 degrees relative to the second orientation; the snap slot (12) on the top of the housing body (10) is communicated with the insertion hole (11) in the first orientation but not communicated with the insertion hole (11) in the second orientation, the buckle (13) on the top of the housing body (10) is adapted to engage with the snap slot (12) on the top of the housing body (10) for locking a terminal inserted into the insertion hole (11) in the first orientation; the snap slot (12) on the bottom of the housing body (10) is communicated with the insertion hole (11) in the second orientation but not communicated with the insertion hole (11) in the first orientation, the buckle (13) on the bottom of the housing body (10) is adapted to engage with the snap slot (12) on the bottom of the housing body (10) for locking a terminal inserted into the insertion hole (11) in the second orientation. In the present invention, adjacent two insertion holes in the housing body are located in different orientations and are not connected by the same snap slot, thereby increasing the creepage distance between adjacent two insertion holes and improving the electrical performance of the connector.
