Abstract

The present invention relates to a hermaphroditically configured connector housing (1) for a plug connection (6). The connector housing (1) is configured to be pluggable along a plugging direction (18) with a mating housing (2) that is structurally identical to the connector housing (1) and has a cable side (8) and a plugging side (10), wherein the plugging side (10) comprises at least one positive-fit element (24) extending transverse to the plugging direction (18) and at least one receiving region (32) that is configured to be complementary at least in sections to the at least one positive-fit element (24). The receiving region (32) of the connector housing (1) is provided for the positive-fit element (24') of the structurally identical mating housing (2), which in turn comprises a structurally identical receiving region (32') for the positive-fit element (24) of the connector housing (1). A plugged state (20) can be secured therewith. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a housing assembly (4) with such a connector housing (1). Moreover, the present invention relates to a plug connection (6) with the housing assembly (4).
