Abstract

Bathtub comprising a self-supporting bathtub body (1) including a body bottom wall (2) with a drain hole (3) for receiving and draining water, and a plurality of lighting sources (7) configured and arranged to illuminate the body bottom wall (2), wherein at least a portion of said body bottom wall (2) is made from translucent material. It is characterized by the fact that the self-supporting bathtub body (1) includes a housing (4) beneath the body bottom wall (2), wherein a lighting panel (5) is positioned and fixed inside said housing (4) for said plurality of lighting sources (7) emit light beams oriented towards the body bottom wall (2).
