Abstract

A method for washing a preventive dental device is provided. The preventive dental device includes a plurality of dental handpieces each having a water injection port and a body portion to which the dental handpieces are connected. The body portion has an internal liquid feeding path connected to a water supply source and supplies the water the dental handpieces. The method washes a plurality of branched liquid feeding paths branched from the internal liquid feeding path toward the respective water injection ports by feeding a liquid such as water or a chemical solution. The method includes supplying the liquid from the water supply source to the internal liquid feeding path; and intermittently supplying the liquid to the branched liquid feeding paths from branch points between the internal liquid feeding path and the branched liquid feeding paths to the respective water injection ports.
