Abstract

This cataplasm includes a support layer, an adhesive layer laminated on the support layer, and a release liner provided on a surface of the adhesive layer which is on the opposite side from the support layer. The adhesive layer contains a drug, water, gelatin, l-menthol, a (methyl acrylate)-(2-ethylhexyl acrylate) copolymer resin emulsion, and magnesium aluminometasilicate, wherein the amount of the (methyl acrylate)-(2-ethylhexyl acrylate) copolymer resin emulsion is 1.5-20 mass%, the amount of magnesium aluminometasilicate is 0.25-0.45 mass%, and the amount of gelatin is 1-3 mass% relative to the whole mass of the adhesive layer.
