Abstract
The object is to provide relatively low-molecular-weight compounds capable of regulating necroptosis. An agent for treating a disease or condition improved by regulating necroptosis, containing a compound represented by the formula I or formula II, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (in the formulas I and formula II, R<sup>1</sup>, R<sup>2</sup>, and R<sup>3</sup> are each independently H or C<sub>1-6</sub> alkyl; X is H or COR<sup>4</sup>, where R<sup>4</sup> is H, C<sub>1-6</sub> alkyl, benzyl (which may be substituted), or H<sub>2</sub>C=CH-).
