Abstract
The present invention aims to provide a process that can separate and recover carbon dioxide from large volumes of combustion exhaust gas in a space-saving and energy-saving manner. According to the present invention, provided is a method for recovering carbon dioxide, comprising an absorbing step of passing combustion exhaust gas containing carbon dioxide through a radial flow type separation device equipped with an absorbent material to absorb the carbon dioxide into the absorbent material, and a releasing step of passing steam through the separation device to release carbon dioxide from the absorbent material.
