Abstract

In a drill of the present invention, a cutting edge (7) includes a thinning edge (70) disposed at a radially inner end portion of the cutting edge (7), and a main cutting edge (71) disposed on a radially outer side of the thinning edge (70) and connected to a leading edge (12) via an outer peripheral corner (15), the main cutting edge (71) and the leading edge (12) have honing of which a cross section perpendicular to each of the ridge portions has a convex curve shape, and a honing curvature radius at a position within 1.5 mm from the outer peripheral corner (15) toward a posterior end side in the leading edge (12) is 25 µm or more and 80 µm or less, and is smaller than a honing curvature radius of a radially outer end portion of the main cutting edge (71), the radially outer end portion being connected to the outer peripheral corner (15).
