Abstract

An ergonomic axe-hammer structure comprising a handle (10) and a striking member (20) is provided. The handle possesses a first body (11), a second body (12), and a third body (13); the first body, the second body, and the third body are connected sequentially from front to back. The central axis of the first body is inclined upwardly at a first inclination angle (A) relative to the central axis of the second body. The central axis of the third body is inclined downwardly at a second inclination angle (B) relative to the central axis of the second body. The striking member is disposed perpendicularly to the first body. When a user grips the third body and swings the handle downward to cause the striking member to strike a nail, a perfect alignment of the striking member with the nail for impact can be ensured through the correction of the first and second inclination angles, maintaining a neutral hand position and preventing the palm and the thenar web space from overextending. The striking member features a parabolic striking surface (X).
