Abstract

A system (1) for cutting material (2) on elongate tubular roll (3) is adapted to be arranged at the elongate tubular roll (3) having an axis (A). The system (1) comprises a rotary cutter (4) arranged on an axle (5) perpendicular to the axis (A) of the elongate tubular roll (3). The axle (5) is rotatably attached to a carrier (6) movably arranged in parallel to the axis (A) of the elongate tubular roll (3). The axle (5) has a coupling part (7), wherein the system (1) comprises a drive device (8) connected to the coupling part (7) of the axle (5), wherein the drive device (8) is arranged such that when the carrier (6) is moved along the axis (A) of the elongate tubular roll (3), the axle (5) is made to rotate with the rotary cutter (4) to cut the material (2) on the elongate tubular roll (3).
