Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for recycling textile fibre material, the method comprising: fragmentising the textile fibre material for obtaining a fragmentised textile fibre material; wetting the fragmentised textile fibre material with a binder agent in the form of an aqueous solution comprising sodium silicate for obtaining a wetted textile fibre material; moulding the wetted textile fibre material into a tile shaped element; and curing the tile shaped element for obtaining a cured tile shaped element comprising textile fibre material in an amount of at most 80 weight%.
