Abstract

A 3D printing apparatus comprising a build platform (1), an extruder head (2), whose outlet is directed towards the lateral surface of the build platform (1), and at least one pushing element (3), which is positioned in the peripheral region of the build platform (1) so that it is adjacent to its side surface, a drive system (5) configured to cause rotation of the build platform (1) relative to the at least one pushing element (3) and the extruder head (2), wherein the at least one pushing element (3) has a pushing surface (7) positioned at a height greater than the outlet of the extrusion head (2) relative to the build platform (1), such that during the printing process, the rotational movement of the build platform (1) causes the pushing surface (7) to make contact with the extruded and hardened material at a position that forces the material to be pushed away from the extrusion head (2).
