Abstract
The present invention is a process of obtention of aluminium hydroxide comprising the simultaneous addition of CO<sub>2</sub> and a metal aluminate in a reactor with mechanical stirring and at a constant reaction pH between 7.5 and 9. The procedure lowers the total reaction time and achieves close to 100% conversions to product, also minimizing the formation of crystalline species if desired.
