Abstract
Polymer polyols ("PMPOs") are described that have good filterability, have a monomodal particle size distribution with a low mean particle size, and high styrene to acrylonitrile ("S:AN") ratio which may lead to improved performance in flexible foam applications, such as reducing the discoloration of such foams that is commonly referred to as "scorch". The PMPOs are a reaction product of a reaction mixture that includes: (a) the base polyol; (b) a pre-formed stabilizer (PFS); and (c) an ethylenically unsaturated composition.
