Abstract

A method for predicting operation of a blast furnace according to the present invention is a method for predicting operation of a blast furnace that predicts a state of a blast furnace by using a nonstationary mathematical model that calculates a state of a blast furnace, and includes: a first step of calculating a height of a liquid surface of a melt in the blast furnace; and a second step of, based on the height of the liquid surface of the melt calculated in the first step, adjusting a process constant related to gas flow in a radial direction of the blast furnace included in the nonstationary mathematical model.
