Abstract

A problem to be solved by the present disclosure is to provide a cross-flow fan capable of reducing noise. A cross-flow fan (101) includes a plurality of impellers (30). On each of the impellers, a plurality of blades (31) are arranged in a circumferential direction. Each of the blades has a negative-pressure face (31a), a pressure face (31b), and an outer peripheral tip portion (31c). A position of a pressure-face-side outer peripheral end (31e) repeats a change in the circumferential direction and a change in a rotation direction periodically along an axis direction. In the change in the circumferential direction, the position of the pressure-face-side outer peripheral end passes through positions C of circumferential concave portions, which are recessed in the circumferential direction, and positions B of circumferential convex portions, which protrude in the circumferential direction. An outer peripheral side of the pressure face relative to a center of the blade has a curvature that periodically changes following the position of the pressure-face-side outer peripheral end. The position of the pressure-face-side outer peripheral end in the circumferential concave portions is located on a front side in the rotation direction relative to a circumscribed-contact portion (31f).
