Abstract

A heat exchanger assembly comprises an inlet duct, a heat exchanger coupled to the inlet duct, a plurality of turning vanes coupled to the heat exchanger and extending into the inlet duct to define a plurality of channels within the inlet duct, and plurality of fins. Each of the plurality of turning vanes comprises a leading edge located within the inlet duct, a convex surface between a first side of the leading edge and a first wall of the turning vane, and a concave surface between a second side the leading edge and a second wall of the turning vane. The second wall of the turning vane is parallel to the first wall of the turning vane. The turning vanes are configured, in use, to turn the fluid from a primary flow direction of the inlet duct to a primary flow direction of the heat exchanger. Each of the plurality of fins comprises at least one undulating surface section, a first end extending between the first wall of a first turning vane and the second wall of a second turning vane proximate to the heat exchanger, and a second end extending between the convex surface of the first turning vane and the concave surface of the second turning vane.
