Abstract

Method (200) for reconstructing lane lines (814a, 814b) of a lane (814) along which a vehicle (10) is moving without computer vision apparatus, wherein the vehicle (10) includes a control system (100) comprising: - a geolocation module (120) configured to locate the geographic position (820) of the vehicle, and - a control unit (110) configured to receive output data from said geolocation module (120), and to access geographic indications (810; 811) of road segments (812) and lanes (814) into which the road segments (812) are divided; said method (200) comprises performing, via said control system (100): - acquiring (201), via said geolocation module (120), the coordinates of the current position (820) of the vehicle (10) in a geodetic reference system (800), - determining (202) based on said position (820) whether the vehicle is on a road segment (812), or within a predetermined distance from a road segment (812).
