Abstract

The present invention relates to a feeding device for an optical device for measuring the temperature of a molten metal bath. The device comprises detecting means, a housing, moving means enclosed by the housing and a guiding system connected to the housing by rotatable connection means. The guiding comprises at least an inlet portion, an outlet portion and a middle portion which is located between the inlet portion and the outlet portion. The middle portion of the guiding system is adjustable in length. The invention also relates to a system comprising the inventive feeding device and an optical device and a method using the system for measuring the temperature of a molten metal bath.
