Abstract

Aspects of the present disclosure include analyzing flow cytometers that exhibit reduced sample carryover. To reduce sample carryover, analyzing flow cytometers of the invention are configured to bidirectionally transmit sheath fluid through a sample line of the analyzing flow cytometer. Also provided are methods of processing a sample using the disclosed analyzing flow cytometers.
