Abstract

In a method for managing secure access to a hazardous environment with restricted access (200), a radar system (110) detects moving targets in three regions (112a, 112b, 112c) in sequence in a corridor (400) that connects the hazardous environment (200) and an external environment (300). Starting from the detection of a self-driven load transport vehicle (500) in the first region (112a), in a start phase, an alarm signal for the hazardous environment (200), which can deactivate a hazardous device (210), is triggered in case of moving targets in the third region (112c), but not in the first and second regions (112a, 112b). When the vehicle (500) is entirely in the second region (112b), the vehicle (500) is requested to stop, and the absence of humans in the corridor (400) is verified. In an arrival phase, the vehicle (500) is authorized to cross the third region without triggering the alarm signal.
