Abstract
A method of transmitting an image represented in a raster graphics format from a graphics processor to an image display apparatus that displays images on a display device using binary pixels is defined. The method comprises converting, at a graphics processor, the raster graphics format representation of the image into a binary pixel representation of the image, encoding, at the graphics processor, the binary pixel representation into a raster frame and transmitting the raster frame from the graphics processor to an image display apparatus using a video interface that uses the raster graphics format.
