Abstract

The disclosure relates to a method (100) for deploying low-level, machine-portable binary code of a Distributed Control System, DCS, component on at least one first computing node (21) of an information and communication system (1), the method comprising: - obtaining (S 101) a source code of a DCS component; - compiling (S 102) the source code into a low-level, machine-portable binary code; and - deploying (S 104) the low-level, machine-portable binary code on the at least first computing node (21) in response to a control command transmitted by a control unit of an orchestration system (30).
