Abstract
A method (600) to select a profile in a UE in operation. The UE collaborates with an eSIM (104) to support multiple profiles. A plurality of supported profiles are stored in the eSIM. Each supported profile is set with a profile description. The method (600) comprises obtaining description of context from Large Language Model (LLM). Further, the method (600) comprises embedding profile descriptions of supported profiles. The context description, the usage preferences, to produce vectors for each, with real number coordinates. The method (600) further includes selecting from plurality of supported profiles, first set of supported profiles which yield maximum value of similarity function of embedded profile description and of embedded context description. Further, the method (600) comprises selecting from first set of supported profiles, second set of supported profiles which yield maximum value of similarity function of embedded profile description and of embedded usage preferences.
