Abstract
A method of monitoring device health is described, which comprises continuously monitoring a plurality of characteristics of a device, and generating a device health score in dependence on a weighted combination of a plurality of functions, each function relating to one or more of the monitored characteristics of the device. In this way, a single value scoring may be used to characterise the current health of a device. This score may be used in a variety of way to improve performance, avoid faults, or take other actions.
