Abstract
Segmented images are prepared by dividing a large image. An intermediate target region is extracted from one segmented image selected, and an intermediate-region information item (82) indicating the range of the intermediate target region and an intermediate feature value (83) of the intermediate target region are acquired. This is repeated using each segmented image as the above one segmented image. Based on the acquired intermediate-region information items (82), an integrated feature value (83a) of a target region that integrates multiple intermediate target regions adjoining one another in the large image is obtained from intermediate feature values (83) of the multiple intermediate target regions.
