Abstract

An apparatus (100) for use in semiconductor manufacturing, the apparatus (100) defines a first zone (142), and a second zone (144) being outside the first zone (142); and the apparatus (100) comprising: - a crane (130) comprising - a crane arm (131) comprising a series of arm segments (132) interconnected through flexible joints (133), where each flexible joint (133) defines a rotary axis and the arm segments (132) being rotatable around the rotary axes, and - engagement means (135) arranged on at least one of the arm segments (132), where the engagement means (135) are configured for engaging part of the apparatus (100); at least one arm segment (132) being displaceable between part of the first zone (142) to part of the second zone (144).
